The Triangle Shirtwaist Company Fire:
The Reforms that Followed

go to March 25 1911

Thesis

The Triangle Shirtwaist Company fire demonstrated the theme, leadership and legacy, in history because it led to fire safety reforms for public places, which still impact today. Many different organizations, such as the National Women's Trade Union League were the first to protest worker safety laws immediately after the fire. These protests led to "a crash course on fire safety".
